Biography:

I have been a consultant endocrinologist at Barnet Hospital since 2005. I am the Head of Department of Diabetes & Endocrinology at Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust.

My undergarduate training was at Cambridge University (Preclinical) and University College London Hospitals (Clinical). I trained on the St Bartholomews/Homerton SHO rotation and, after gaining my MRCP, returned to UCL for my registrar training at The Middlesex Hospital, The Whittington Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.

I wrote an MD Thesis on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and endocrine aspects of obesity, following a 2 year research fellowship in the Metabolic Medicine Unit at The Whittington Hospital. I spent 1 year as a registrar in Sydney, Australia in 1999. From 2002 to 2005,

I was a Consultant Endocrinologist at QE2 Hospital, Welwyn Garden City, before taking up my current post in Barnet in 2005.

Just thought I would let you know that the feedback from Oxgate Surgery in Cricklewood was wonderful. 11 out of 10 the Practice Manager said. They are just in the process of ticking off the consultants that they want to see and have not apparently stopped talking about it
