Biography:
Educated Haberdashers' Aske's School and University College London and Middlesex School of Medicine. During his Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery training he was awarded an AO scholarship & the Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) scholarship for excellence. He undertook fellowship hand, wrist and upper limb surgery training at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby and Wrightington Hospital.
He holds the European Diploma in Hand Surgery and was awarded the Churchill Livingstone Medal for best candidate. Consultant Orthopaedic, Hand & Wrist surgeon at University College London Hospital.
Faculty member at International and National meetings and regular teaching of surgical techniques in Hand and wrist surgery both in the UK and around the world.
Presented and published on key aspects of hand and wrist surgery including original articles and book chapters. Invited named reviewer of the Journal of Children's Orthopaedics, the official journal of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS) and the Map of Medicine.
His special interests include all aspects of Hand and wrist surgery, acute hand, wrist and elbow trauma, post-traumatic hand, wrist and elbow reconstruction, Scaphoid fracture surgery, Kienbock's disease, chronic wrist pain, arthroscopic hand, wrist and elbow surgery, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis surgery, wrist replacement and finger joint replacements surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, Dupuytren surgery, paediatric hand and upper limb surgery, sports injuries, the musician's hand
