Biography:

Natasha Kapur qualified in Medicine from Charing Cross and Westminster in 1992.

 She has always worked in London teaching Hospitals including St Marys, The Brompton, Royal Free and University College Hospital. Whilst a registrar she was awarded The Geoffrey Dowling Fellowship and went to University Hospital Bern, Switzerland for research into Photodynamic Therapy. This is a non-surgical way to treat certain premalignant and malignant skin cancers.

In addition to general dermatology she has a particular interest in Paediatric Dermatology and teaching. After being appointed at The Whittington Hospital she helped set up and run a weekly Community Dermatology service.

She welcomes opportunities to improve contact between primary and secondary care.

Natasha Kapur is married to Consultant Cardiologist, Dr Roby Rakhit and they have two sons.
