Biography:

Mr Colin Davis is a Consultant Obstetrician, and Gynaecologist and Associate Clinical Director for Gynaecology at Barts and the London Hospitals.

He is one of the few surgeons in the UK leading the way in new endoscopic techniques and has pioneered laparoscopic tubal microsurgery and laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis. He has established an endoscopic training centre and runs a number of RCOG Level II and consultant update courses and is lead obstetrician for the Multiple Obstetric Stimulated Obstetric Scenarios courses, which are run at the Barts simulation centre.

In 2002 he was also awarded The British Menopause Society Research Award for his further research examining the menopause. His areas of expertise are:Minimal Access Surgery for Gynaecology, Infertility, ObstetricsEndometriosis, Uterine Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts, MenopausePolycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Menstrual Disorders

We find the meetings extremely useful and very convenient. Organisation is easy and efficient using email, and we benefit enormously from meeting local consultants without having to travel. Our Clinical meetings have been transformed, with a wide range of specialties covered.
