"I really like the way these meetings bring individual local consultants into our surgery. We get to meet them and hear about their special interests. They can put a face to us and hear about the clinical and organisational problems that we are up against. It's a friendly and mutually beneficial way to spend an hour. We started a PDP (personal developmental programme in our surgery based on the educational needs of the doctors/nurses and staff. A lot of my time (leading the programme) was spent in ringing reps/arranging food/speakers . Your service has taken away all that from me so I can use my time doing other things. The quality of speakers are very good. Helen is excellent as she keeps me informed of any changes. She also ensures that the consultants are aware of the topics and accept any comments /feedback about the consultants (positive or negative ) very positively. I have recommended this service highly to all my local collegues.
