We started a PDP (personal developmental programme in our surgery based on the educational needs of the doctors/nurses and staff. A lot of my time (leading the programme) was spent in ringing reps/arranging food/speakers . Your service has taken away all that from me so I can use my time doing other things. The quality of speakers are very good. Helen is excellent as she keeps me informed of any changes. She also ensures that the consultants are aware of the topics and accept any comments /feedback about the consultants (positive or negative ) very positively. Just before I go on holiday I wanted to let you know that my meeting on Wednesday went brilliantly. The speaker arrived on time, and there was a good turnout of GPs and nurses. Out of the 3 reps, 2 had their managers with them, so I was hoping they were going to be impressed. Then at the end they came over to say how good and worthwhile it had been, and the Servier manager said he had read about us in some medical publication and were we nationwide! I said not yet but we will be soon if The Boss has her way! I also had a Gp come to me saying that he seen a rep at his surgery that sponsored our meetings before and was singing our praises.
